Changes for Local Government in the Wellington Region Additional Public Meeting Upper Hutt

The Local Government Commission is considering applications to change the shape of local authorities in Wellington.

The proposals affect the number of councils, their structures and powers. The councils are: KapitiCoast, PoriruaCity, WellingtonCity, HuttCity, UpperHuttCity, South Wairarapa, Carterton, Masterton and the Greater Wellington Regional Council.

The Commission has scheduled an extra meeting for those people who were unable to gain admission to the Cosmopolitan Club meeting on 21 November. Please come to share your views or to ask questions.
